๐ Highlights

๐ Description
Mount Harriet National Park is a blend of natural beauty, colonial history, and peaceful wilderness. Itโs a favorite among nature lovers, trekkers, and those seeking a quiet retreat from the busier parts of Port Blair.
The park features dense tropical forests with a mix of evergreen and deciduous trees. Wildlife sightings include spotted deer, monitor lizards, and if youโre lucky, the rare Andaman wild pig. Birdsong fills the air as you walk through the trails, making it an ideal location for birdwatchers and photographers.
One of the unique things about Mount Harriet is its historical connection to British India. It was once the summer retreat for British officers, and the view from its summit is the same one featured on the old โน20 note โ a view of the lighthouse and islands in the distance.
The trek from the base to the peak is moderate and rewarding, with fresh air, wildlife sounds, and scenic pit stops along the way.
